– Devil’s Pool, Victoria falls

Devil’s Pool is located on the edge of the great Victoria falls in Zambia. If you want to swim on the top of a high waterfall with a stunning view, this place is for you. But you should be a supreme risk-taker. Because one little wrong move can take you down in a 355 feet waterfall.
The Authorities of Zambia have limited the visitors to Devil’s Pools to 24 people at a time. Their main concern has been conserving the natural habitat surrounding the waterfall. Furthermore, there is only one company that holds the permission to carry visitors to the Devil’s pool. There have been many accidents and deaths due to the illegal guides.
Despite all the risks, this pool is worth a visit. The view you get to experience in clear waters is amazing indeed. There is a natural barrier near the waterfall which can prevent you from falling off the waterfall but, you have to be careful. Visitors are allowed in this area only during the dry season which spreads from mid-August to Mid June.

They either drown in the pool or are hit by the rocks by the high force of the waves. Most people end up with chest injuries, rope burns, perforated eardrums, and sprained ankles. In addition, one teenage girl got paralyzed after swimming here.
No locals have died here because they know how to swim against the forceful waves and how the waves fluctuate over time. Even with the great danger this place carries, its’ surroundings still make the place a popular destination.
– Y 40 pool, Italy
Y 40 pool is not for swimming and summer fun. This pool is located in Momentegrotto Terme resort, Venice, Italy. The scariest part about this pool is that this pool is 130 feet deep. This means it can easily accommodate a 13 storied building. It contains 15200 cubic meters of water. This is not a spot for swimmers, but scuba divers and free-divers. It has caves and ledges which can offer a realistic driving experience. Moreover, there is a viewing tunnel that facilitates divers to explore what is happening in depth of the water.
Diving deep into the water carries enormous risk. One wrong step you take can leave you with terrible consequences. Therefore, you have to sign a waiver before diving into this pool.
– Nemo 33 pool
Nemo 33 pool is also a pool created for divers. It is located in Brussels, Belgium. This is facilitated by a massive cylindrical part that runs deep into the earth for 33 meters. It is filled with freshly filtered non-chlorinated spring water. This pool is limited to expert divers. It encompasses tunnels and caves with air pockets. The wave creator machine malfunctioned and created massive waves which could throw people into the air and dump them on the ground. Many people were screaming and bleeding due to the incident. Furthermore, 44 people were injured due to this artificial tsunami wave and luckily no one died. The rumor went saying that the massive wave was a mistake done by a drunk machine operator officer. But the management of the water park said that the wave machine malfunctioned due to a sudden power cut.
