When I think about Italian food, Pasta is the first thing that pops out of my head. Pasta is a dish that we can prepare for the main course. There are various kinds of pasta such as penne pasta, spaghetti, bow tie pasta, and many more. Most people buy pasta sauce when making pasta. But actually, you can make pasta sauce by following some easy steps. Today we are going to present you with a recipe to make pink sauce pasta. When making pink sauce pasta you have to prepare 3 main things.

01) Red sauce

02) White sauce

03) Pasta

Let’s dive into the recipe.

Ingredients

Pasta

01) Pasta ( any kind of pasta)

02) Oil – 2tbsp. ( Olive oil or coconut oil)

03) salt – 2tbsp.

Red sauce

01) Tomatoes – 3 (medium size)

02) Tomato ketchup

03) Chopped onions – 1

04) chopped garlic cloves – 4

05) Chili powder – 2tbsp.

06) pepper 2 tbsp.

07) Salt to taste

08) Cooking oil- 2tbsp

White Sause

01) Corn flour or wheat flour 3tbsp.

02) Milk 3/4 cups

03) oil 4tbsp.

04) cheese slices – 3

05) Oregano – 2tbsp.

06) salt to taste



Method

Step 01
In pan, bring water to boil and add tablespoons of oil and salt. Allow the pasta to cook until it is al dente.

Step 02
Drain all the water and let the pasta cool.

Put a little cut on tomatoes and put them in hot water to sit for a few minutes. (This will make peeling tomatoes a breeze.)

Step 02
Take the tomatoes, peel them, and puree them until a creamy paste forms.

Step 03
Add two tablespoons of cooking oil to a pan on the heat. Then add chopped garlic and onions. Stir it until the aroma comes.

Add tomato paste and stir well. Then add chili powder and pepper. Give it a good stir and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 05
Add tomato ketchup and salt to taste. Stir it and let the red sauce aside. Now your red sauce is ready.

step 01
Put a pan on the stove and add 4tbsp. of cooking oil.

Step 02
After the butter is melted add corn flour and stir it until well combined.

Step 03
Add 3/4 cups of milk and Stir well.

Step 04
Stir in the cheese until it has melted and the sauce is thoroughly combined.

Step 05
Add oregano and salt to taste.

Combining all

  • Put the previously made red sauce into the white sauce and stir it until well combined. Now your pink sauce is ready
  • Add salt if needed
  • Put pasta into the pink sauce and stir it slowly.

Notes

  • If your red sauce pasta is too spicy you can add some sugar to lower the spiciness.
  • We are adding corn flour as and thickening agent. is your sauce is too liquidly you can add more corn flour.
  • Thin down the sauce with more milk or water if it’s excessively thick.
  • Normally Pink sauce pasta is made using penne pasta.
