Ingredients
01) Chicken 750g
02) Pepper (according to your taste)
03) Salt(according to your taste)
04) Green Chili/Red chilli-5(chopped)
05) Garlic cloves-7(crushed)
06) Ginger paste- 2 tsp
07) Curry leaves
08) Pandan leaf
09) Cardamom pods-2(crushed)
10) Cinnamon stick
11) Tomato-1 (large)(sliced)
12) Lemongrass- 1 stalk
13) Curry powder 1tsp
14) 1/2 cup of Coconut milk (1st extract)
15) Onion-1 (sliced)
16) Turmeric powder- 1tsp
Method
Step 01
Take a pot ( a clay pot is preferable) and add
01) Chicken 750g
02) Pepper (according to your taste)
03) Salt(according to your taste)
04) Green Chili/Red chilli-5(chopped)
05) Garlic cloves-7(crushed)
06) Ginger paste- 2 tsp
07) Curry leaves
08) Pandan leaf
09) Cardamom pods-2(crushed)
10) Cinnamon stick
11) Tomato-1 (large)(sliced)
12) Lemongrass- 1 stalk
13) Curry powder 1tsp
14 Onion-1 (sliced)
15 Turmeric powder- 1tsp
In to the pot.
Step 2
Place the saucepan on the stovetop and cook it. Make sure it is on low heat until it is half done.
Step 3
After that, add the coconut milk. Continue cooking until water simmers.
Note: There are several ways to prepare pepper chicken, and this is how I prepare it. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally. Always cook with the lid on.
