Who doesn’t like a flavorsome spicy snack in the evenings? Fish Patties is a perfect snack to full fill your evening food cravings. Let’s make some fish patties at home.
Ingredients
01) 200g of boiled, mashed potatoes
02) 300g of fish(boiled and bones removed ) or 300g of canned fish
03) 6 garlic cloves (finely chopped )
04) 1 small onion (finely chopped )
05) pepper powder
06) salt
07) 1 tsp of chili flakes
08) 2 eggs
09) Breadcrumbs
10) 3/4 cups of flour
11) 3/4 cups of water
12)cheese slices
13) 2 Green Chilis (finely chopped)
Method
Step 01
mash the fish until it becomes flaky.
Step 02
Add mashed potato paste,1 egg, onion, garlic, pepper, salt, green Chili, chili flakes, 1 tbsp. of Breadcrumbs, and mix it until all well combined.
Step 03
Then get 2 tbsp. of the mixture and make its shape a 0.5cm thick flat circle.
Step 04
Then add 1/2 a cheese slice and add another 2 tbsp. of the mixture to cover the cheese and flat it until it gets patty shape. Do the same for the rest of the mixture.
Step 05
Then freeze it for 2 hours.
Step 06
Add flour, egg, water, salt to a bowl and mix it.
Step 07
Then dip your frozen Patties in the batter and dip it in breadcrumbs until well coated.
Step 08
Then pan fry it until it gets crispy, golden brown texture.
Note
cheese is optional. If you don’t use cheese make a 1 cm thick patty. Salt and pepper according to your taste.
