The Ordinary is already known to those who shun frills in favor of effective formulas with standout active ingredients for a lower cost. One of the products that they offer most frequently is The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser. This claims to provide a gentle skin cleanse together with makeup removal. Regardless, does it deliver all that people say it tries to? The fact that Squalane Cleanser is silicone-free made. It is the perfect fit for me. I’d expand the information about it starting from the texture and up to the ability to remove makeup.
First Impressions:
This product comes in a simple no-frills plastic tub with minimal writing on the labels. It’s just a simple packing. But come on! At the end of the day, you are paying for the product Not for the bottle. The cleanser is a product that is formulated as a gel cream. Also, its texture is quite rich and non-greasy, which creates a very silky and pleasant feeling on the skin. That is my man; No more stripping feels all over here.
The Good Stuff:
Super Gentle:
The cleanser has no trace of fragrance and is non-acnegenic; this just means that it does not clog pores and is ideal for any skin type. My skin was not left dry or tight at all after using it which tells a lot about this product.
Doubles as Makeup Remover:

The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser
While it is not extremely effective for removing thick makeup, it can work well for light makeup such as foundation, blusher, and mascara though one has to work a wee bit. Even for waterproof stuff, whether it is permanent, you may have to use another agent to wipe it.
Leaves Skin Soft and Hydrated:
It makes your face feel fresh and not stripped as most cleansers do to the skin, or the face, in this case. Desire, squalane is not bad for its drying and I have to admit that it does add a little warmth to the hands.
Affordable Option:
L’Ordinaire® is one of Sephora’s budget brands, and the Squalane Cleanser is one of its cheapest items. There are many units and sizes for a reasonable price.
A Few Things to Consider:
Not Great for Oily Skin:
It also becomes quite obvious that if you have very oily skin, this cleanser will not effectively meet that challenge by removing all the oils in your skin, though it offers quite a promise. Perhaps there will be a need for something more resignation.
Not the Most Sudsy:
This does not create a lot of foam, which a lot of people assume is great for cleansing skin – it really is not. Well, I assure you that it even washes as perfectly as the bubbly soaps but without the bubbles!

The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser
May Require Multiple Washes for Heavy Makeup:
Again, as you have noted, you might require rinsing your face twice or maybe using a different makeup remover when doing heavy makeup to remove all the makeup.
Would I Recommend This?
Absolutely! I will recommend this cleanser as a daily cleanser for most skin types. Because it is gentle enough to use daily. Even for the most delicate skin types, it is entirely safe. It’s mild because it doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals that could potentially be irritating to the skin. It is ideal to note, however, that it is not as effective when used on oily skin or when applied with heavy makeup. On the whole, the Ordinary Squalane Cleanser can be considered good for those who don’t want to spend a lot of money on a cleanser but want to enjoy a gentle formula for the face.
