The Huggable Lip Color is housed in a small yet stylish gunmetal case which I find quite portable and chic. It is much better than the operative black MAC packaging but the products are very good. Opening it, there is a bullet lipstick at the center of which is a creamy and highly substantive makeup product. No fancy, delicate feel here, we have to say.

Moisture Marvel: It moisturizes my lips to the max and it really holds it’s own as a lipstick. The coverage is non-greasy and its texture is quite velvety; when you apply it, your lips remain soft all day without sticking together. Bitter-scent and blotchy lips a thing of the past.
Sheer to Medium Coverage: The pigmentation is great, which means it is buildable, starting from a very natural tint of the lips to a more opaque veil of color with added layers of application. There’s nothing as good as this especially for those who do not love very dark lips.
Wide Shade Range: No wonder there’s always a shade for each and every one of us. From the pinks and nudes to the berries and plums, Huggable Lip Color offer a range that suits all the skin types.

Pleasant Scent: Vanilla fragrance is used in moderation to give a little touch of sweetness.

The Not-So-Good Stuff: A Few Things to Consider

Not Super Long-lasting:

Do not go with this lipstick if you are planning to go somewhere where you will need to eat because it easily wears off. It has a hydrating formula with this one possibly meaning it may be necessary to reapply throughout the day.

As much as I love this lipstick, I would not recommend it to anyone who wants a block read, super matte, aggressively opaque lips, especially if they are on the pale side. Its strong suite is its comfort with which it can be layered on other colors.

As a MAC cosmetics, the Huggable Lip Colour is priced for the high end market. Also, it shows from the price breaks down as follows. It is nonetheless possible to use quite a number of other products. Especially the ones from the drugstore which have virtually similar comfort let alone the sheer color.
