Ingredients
- 2 cups of fresh or frozen berries
- 1 banana
- ½ cup Greek yogurt or fat free yogurt
- 1 cup milk (use the milk you drink the most)
- 1 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- ½ cup of crushed ice
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- fresh mint leaves or basil leaves
Directions
- Cut your banana into small pieces and if you have fresh fruit which is heavily recommended cut those into smaller prices as well, if you have frozen berries just throw them straight into the blender.
- Blend all your fruit first and then add your ½ cup of Greek yogurt or fat free yogurt
- As it blends together add your milk and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or honey along with it. Make sure keep cleaning up the sides as you go.
- Start adding your ½ cup of ice and blend it smooth and rich in texture, with that add in your ¼ tsp of vanilla and 1 tablespoon of almond butter for the rich taste.
- Pour all of the smoothie into a chill glass, and finish it with a fresh mint or basil leave
- Throw some fresh or frozen berries on top to make it even more delicious.
- *For vegan, use vegan yogurt or another ½ banana.
