Narendra Modi Stadium, India

With a staggering 132,000 spectator capacity, Narendra Modi Stadium, which was originally built in 1983 but underwent renovation in 2006, is the largest cricket stadium in the world. Even when only half full, Narendra Modi Stadium is still larger than the majority of cricket grounds worldwide. This stadium is located in the city of Naya Raipur, India. India’s 50th international cricket venue is the Cricket Stadium. An ODI between India and New Zealand was played here for the first time in 2023. And India prevailed. HCA presented the idea for a new stadium to the former Andhra Pradesh government, which was then led by N. Chandrababu Naidu, in 2003. The project was swiftly approved. And HCA received funding for it. The government also found a sizable plot of land in Uppal that was appropriate for the project.
