First Impressions
OK, let’s reveal the first impression: the packaging. Ariana Grande R.E.M. perfume is sold in a beautiful, futuristic-like bottle. It has this purple and clear crystal design that is quite futuristic. The packaging is vibrant and sure to become the center of attraction. They are definitely the kind of bottles that you might use to decorate your home due to their uniqueness and attractiveness.
The Scent
Here we go now to the most vital facet of this – scent. Initially, when you apply R.E.M., you will be able to detect an unusual combination of fruity and sugary elements. The aroma is very fresh and lively as it contains pear and fig at the very beginning. What stands out with this one is that the scent is not the usual kind I know about Ariana. It has a special nuance to it the essence of which is that it is really arresting.
By now you should be aware that perfume is changing as time goes on. In the sequence, you are observed to the high and complicated notes such as caramel, salt, and lavender. It’s sweet yet more refined in some way. Caramel makes it a little thicker and creamier but salt and lavender make it more delicate and calm. The dry down part in going through which R.E.M. truly depicts its finest. After a passage of time, it turns to an earthy, musk base which is complemented with tones of tonka bean and sandalwood. This particular stage is quite different and more adult because of the accelerated development of the fragrant molecules which I think is really nice.
Longevity and Silage
So, my question is how long does R.E.M. last? I found it to be very satisfactory indeed! The duration was about 6-7 hours on my skin on normal days. I use it as a perfume for everyday use, and it is even longer if you put it on your clothes. The silage (how far the scent travels) is medium. It does not sting your nostrils but the smell does totally get noticed when you are walking by or being with someone who is experiencing the product on your skin. It’s a kind of perfume that you can’t help but get compliments on without being too overpowering.

When to Wear
R.E.M. in a way is a so-called must-have of the seasons. You can wear it during the day for some “let’s have some fun”- weekends, or you can wear it at night for a very pleasant hanging-out-at-home. All the while it is great for any season, I believe the leaves around and the winter snow that comes and goes are the best times to use this one since that vibe is most ideally supported by the warm musky scent. Whether you are going to school, work, or a night out R.E.M. will do the trick and will give you a picture-perfect look.
