MAC Viva Glam lipsticks are nothing sort of legendary. Wonders of the world they have been for ages, and it was very courageous when they painted it bold and all for charity. But are these appliances as good as people have been describing them? Being a fan of this sort of Lip/Mattifier and, hoping to support a worthy cause, I bought one or two Viva Glam shades. Here is all you need to know about the more moisturizing formulas including the pros, cons, and any shortcomings such as lower shades selection.
First Impressions
The design of the Viva Glam product package is quite basic. But at the same time memorable – a matte black tube with a bright red accent on the words Viva Glam. It does not attract too much glamour but serves the purpose intended. The best part? It is interesting to know that one hundred percent of the cost of each MAC product goes to the MAC AIDS Fund furthering HIV/AIDS causes. I must say that cause is one of the most awesome things one can support.
The Good Stuff:
As you know, I am on a mission to find the perfect creamy color. This one is not only creamy but also comes with a conscience.
Super Creamy Formula:
These lipsticks are very smooth, wear comfortably on the lips, and do not settle into fine lines even when in use for several hours. There seems to be none of the dryness or cakiness that is typical of so many economic accounts.

MAC Viva Glam Lips
Highly Pigmented:
A single stroke gives a full coverage, matte finish in the pilot. There is no need to constantly boost and promote the product to visibly walk among them and notice that there are popsicles with a flavor-packed, gluten-free, rich taste that is entirely satisfying.
Variety of Finishes:
Viva Glam lipsticks include several finishes: creamy, matte, and even metallic based. It seems like Viva Glam is for everyone, wherever you are, whatever your mood is, whatever type of makeup you have on.
The Charity Angle:
Before, I already pointed out that knowing that the MAC lipstick that I am purchasing is contributive to the MAC AIDS Fund makes this lipstick somehow satisfying.
The Not-So-Good Stuff:
Limited Shade Range:
It seems that Viva Glam is not as extensive as some other MAC lipstick lines, however, some of the classic shades are included. There is no perfect everyday nude for you here.
Seasonal Releases:
Some of the Viva Glam shades are for a limited time, which can be disheartening seeing that your favorite color is no longer available.

MAC Viva Glam Lips
Not Transfer-Proof:
The thicker ones can rub off slightly, particularly if you are not cautious about it. Applying them with lip powder can assist.
The Final Verdict
Therefore, are MAC Viva Glam lipsticks worth the hype? Here’s my take:
Viva Glam is perfect if you want comfortable and opaque lipstick with good color. It allows you to express yourself, and if you’re willing to support a great cause. It has a creamy texture that is comfortable to wear, and the range of finishes introduces a level of versatility. However, the shade range could be a downside for some individuals, and the limited edition ones can be disappointing.
