This is one of the renowned brands in applying glam makeup and cannot be complete without brushes and makeup tools. Are these brushes worthy of the hefty sum or are they simply another falsely claimed beautiful accessory? I recently purchased a few brushes from Huda Beauty to test out the quality as well, so I thought I’d share my thoughts. Want to know how to compare and research bristle type and handle, all the way down to the price range?
First Impressions:
So, this comes with Luxe Looks + Hefty Feels.
For the presentation, I have to say that Huda does not leave her fans disappointed. Altogether the brushes are fitted into beautiful rose-gold packaging that gives the overall impression of a product that is luxurious. The brushes themselves are not overly light or delicate but are solid and made with exceptionally soft bristles. They do resemble the breed of makeup tools that advertise luxury.
The Good Stuff:
Here’s where these brushes might become your new makeup BFFs:
Super Soft Bristles: It soft bristles feel silky to the skin making them ideal to use in scrubbing the skin. It is a suitable line for all skin types; in fact, it is soothing for sensitive skin.
Flawless Foundation: The foundation brushes are usually used to spread foundation well over the skin with some of them such as the Build & Buff Double Ended Brush being used to blend perfectly. She always discovered them given an exquisite, airbrushed appearance.
Precise Application: Certain brushes which include the Concealer Brush are specially shaped to have a narrow bristle end to enable spot application of concealer particularly in the under-eye area or on the nose. No more blending blunders!
Multitasking Magic: Some brush types can do more than one job, such as the #11 Angled Face Brush. This is ideal for those people who discuss or prefer not having much luggage, or who simply prefer having few cosmetics items in their makeup case
The Not-So-Good Stuff: A Few Things to Consider
While the quality is undeniable, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Pricey Picks:
To sum up one must remain objective and note that all Huda Beauty brushes are without a doubt very costly.
Shedding Suspects:
The only situation that causes them to complain is when they say that the brushes shed a little, particularly at the early stage of using the appliance. This is not a very big issue but still needed to be included.
Not for All Techniques: There are certain brush types, such as Buff & Blend Short Handle Foundation Brush, that may be too dense for some people’s preferences when it comes to applying foundation. Experimentation is key!
The Final Verdict:
For those readers who like spending a lot of money on make-up tools that feel luxurious on the skin, enjoy using soft brushes, and are fans of Huda Beauty. They mix perfectly, apply following a more accurate pattern and a number of those are versatile. But it does come at a steep price. That makes one wonder whether it is not possible to get a brush of similar quality at a cheaper price.
